Administration Manager
Marleston

Are you an experienced Executive/Personal Assistant (preferably including Board or Committee support) with administration and organisational skills to ‘expert’ level?

  • Maternity Leave Position (Full Time for 11 months, from 1st June 2011 – April 2012)
  • Role with variety - flexible working conditions – based in Marleston
  • Salary $55K-$65K (negotiable) plus super
 
The Role
 
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Executive Assistant (EA) with Office Management capabilities to contribute to our professional team at Healthy People South Australia (HPSA) whilst our current EA is on Maternity Leave.
 
This exciting role comprises five main areas of responsibility:
  • Support for Chief Executive, Board and Board Sub-committees, Leadership Team and HR Manager
  • Management of the office environment including customer service and liaison with external service providers and contractors
  • Administration of the payroll and accounts payable/receivable function
  • Coordination of Occupational Health and Safety and application of legislation, policies and procedures which support staff to contribute towards a safe and sustainable work environment
  • Leadership of minor projects as directed by the Chief Executive

HPSA is responsible to the Minister for Healthy People and works closely with the Department of Healthy People. HPSA is an independent statutory authority under Section 129 of the Healthy People Services Act 2012.
 
 
Qualifications and Skills Required:
 
  • Relevant qualification, preferably encompassing administration, Occupational Health & Safety and Human Resource administration
  • Highly developed computer skills, including high level word processing, spread sheeting, presentation creation
  • Well-developed communication and liaison skills, with strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Sound verbal, numerical, interpersonal and written communication
  • Strong understanding of Human Resources and Occupational Health and Safety frameworks and how to apply them
  • Highly organised and effective time management skills
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with people at all levels within and outside the organisation
  • Ability to monitor multiple activities, negotiate and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain and respect confidentiality of the highest order
  • Knowledge of the Health Sector would be an advantage
